Founded in 2010, Blackhole FM’s mission has been to provide our listeners with a source of amazing music from local bands in your home town to main stream bands known across the world! We’ve kept the station 100% commercial free and will continue to do so forever as well! Maintaining our stance on local music, we play 2 local submissions at the top and bottom of every hour! We also blast you ears
with amazing local music at 6PM ET every day for a full hour! As our library of local music builds, we will add more and more time dedicated to these amazing bands as well. Throughout the years, we’ve booked local concerts, worked with nationally touring acts, and even interviewed some of your favorite bands! What we wanted to do for local music caused out founder to start Blackhole Media in 2013. It was at that point, Blackhole FM became a division of Blackhole Media. In 2013 Blackhole FM also relocated from New Milford, CT to East Greenwich, RI. After the move, we suffered a few server failures, causing severe downtime. In November 2014, Blackhole FM was brought back to life and we added a massive collection of new local music to our library!
