“Against the Sky” is my take on the Budd/Eno classic from their album “The Pearl.” It’s one of my very favorite albums and I thought this track, which features Harold’s Rhodes electric piano wrapped in Eno’s treatments and soundscapes, might sit well on acoustic piano with my kinds of swirling textures behind it. It’s over on Bandcamp for “name-your-own-price” including free!

Six years old! In 2019 Spotted Peccary released my album “How It Happened” on April 19th, the day after I met Sarah. A lot has changed since then! I still love this music, and am so glad to keep hearing from people about their experiences with the album. And Daniel Piptone’s art and design still make me smile. I’m almost done with my next Spotted Peccary album… more to come!

"Rise" is the latest single from PLATFORM8! Noah encourages me to sing LOW and this song has one of the few moments where I sing the lead (in many layers) and also play every bass I own. If I didn't take myself so seriously I might mention Spinal Tap's legendary "Big Bottom" song in which every band member plays the bass. But I do take myself seriously, so I won't.
