Like mother, like daughter ❤

As much as I love shooting portraits and working with the fantastic human clients I’ve had over the years, working with horses will always be my all time favorite. How lucky am I that I get the opportunity to be surrounded by such beautiful horses and stunning babies? No babies expected at the farm this year (my sleep says YAY, but sad to not get fresh baby snuggles this spring), so reliving the days when Miss Penelope was a tiny tot with her momma, Sadie. Now Penelope is a leggy, sassy 2 year old 🤣

I don’t know about all of you... but I sure could use some extra warmth these days.

How about a warm and fuzzy moment from a much warmer day featuring one of my upcoming wedding couples for 2025? These two are so wildly in love and so sweet, I can’t wait for their wedding coming up in June!

Channeling the summer warmth on my skin as I head out to the cold to take care of the birds I signed myself up for 🤣

The shot… and then swipe to see the failed attempt 🤣

You would never know this was a 3 year old stallion 🤣 we had to do a LOT to get those ears up… even tossing the plastic bag at him and having it land ON HIS HEAD… nothing. Working with people can be challenging at times, but working with live animals means so many more layers of unpredictable moments. Even the ones that are unpredictable in their LACK of reaction 🤣
