My numismatic display from the Spring Whitman Expo on Philippine currency during WWII (many USA made). Second prize
This took a long time to put together and I am still missing several pieces. Still it is a nice display of the diverse currencies and lengths the USA went through to get money into the US territory of the Philippines. I will probably display some better images of the notes later but wanted to show off the display. Happy to answer questions ! I was very sad no one used my QR codes haha

Wheat pennies, worth the time to go through?
After seeing a recent post regarding wheats, I remembered that I’ve got a lot of wheat pennies among coins from grandparents. Similar to the dimes I posted a day or so ago.

Due to the bulk storage, nothing will be in great condition, so is it worth the time to go through?

I’m not looking to get rid of them but may want to separate the best ones for distinct years and put them into better storage since I like old coins and if they’ve been around this long, might as well continue to keep them for my daughter. Maybe she can pass them on!

30,000 wheat pennies
Hey everyone, I dug into my grandpa’s coin collection this weekend. It’s been in the basement for almost 50 years. It is VAST.

One of the most significant parts is 600 rolls of pennies, mostly all labeled (see photo), and mostly from early to mid 20th century. What I’m wondering is how to best ascertain their value. Is this a one-by-one type thing? Do I use an app to scan them? Or do I just research year by year? Would really appreciate your guidance—it’s very overwhelming!

So this happened yesterday
I went to the gas station and in my change were two wheat pennies.
I glanced over the counter and saw the change drawer was full of wheat backs
I asked it I could buy them from her and she said I have a bunch of old ones and pulled out 20 rolls😲
One of which is Indian Heads!
She had just bought them from the bank!! She wanted me to go get her $10 in pennies from the bank!Incredible 🤗
