The Biblical book of Leviticus is getting a lot of focus since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the fundamentalist conservative political operative who frequently claimed in public comments that the book condemned LGBTQ+ people. But like many other anti-LGBTQ+ Christians, Kirk was misinterpreting Leviticus, writes Pastor Tyler Yost of Church of Peace UCC in his second installment taking on Biblical passages used to condemn LGBTQ+ people.

Leviticus, a favorite source of "clobber passages" cited by the late Charlie Kirk and other extreme fundamentalist Christians to attack LGBTQ+ people, is rife with misinterpretation, writes Pastor Tyler Yost.
