Two years since I made a max bet on myself.

Two years since I put every single one of my eggs into one basket because I knew God was calling me to something bigger.

Two years since I stopped counting down the days until the weekend.

Two years without the Sunday scaries.

Two years of yapping and trapping with the world’s most “WE RIDE AT DAWN” clientele you could ever imagine.

Two years of celebrating engagements, weddings, pregnancies, promotions, and fresh starts together.

Two years of talking through heartbreaks, bad dates, divorces, and life’s “what now?” moments.

Two years of hearing, “Okay… this is probably TMI, but…”

Two years of watching so many of my clients become mommas.

Two years of trusting me with your most vulnerable moments.

Two years of hearing, “I’ve never told anyone this before…”

Two years of learning, growing, evolving, and pouring every ounce of myself into this little business.

Two years later, and I still have to pinch myself because I genuinely can’t believe this is my life.

Thank you for trusting me…not just with your brows, lashes, skin, and waxes, but with your stories, your milestones, your tears, your laughs, and all of the in-between.

A huge week ahead at JD Esthetics & Co. ✨

60+ services, a wedding, and 7 straight days in the treatment room.

A special thank you to the 23 clients who were incredibly flexible and allowed me to move appointments around and squeeze everyone in from next week into Saturday & Sunday of this week.

After this week, I’ll be stepping away to spend time with family as we travel to Erie to bring my father-in-law’s ashes home and lay him to rest.

I’ll be back in the treatment room on July 8th.

Thank you for supporting my small business and extending so much grace while we navigate one of the hardest seasons we’ve been through as a family!

If anything has made this week a little lighter, it’s been my community within this business that we have collectively built together.

It’s a strange feeling realizing that people think about you outside of the transactional side of things here - but one thing about my clients is…they’re gonna show up in every single form.

To my incredible clients 🤍

My family and I are currently navigating a very sudden and significant loss. Because of this, I’ll be stepping away from social media, my phone, and communication more over the next few days as we process everything and focus on being together.

To the clients I’ve had to reschedule, and especially to the clients who quite literally watched me receive this news in real time (Kenzie) and immediately showed up for me with compassion, patience, love, hugs, grace, and emotional support. I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to explain what that meant to me in those moments.

The difference between building a business rooted in genuine human connection versus simply being another number somewhere will never be lost on me. I am endlessly grateful for this community and the people God has placed into my life through it.

Response times may be slower while we navigate the next several days. Thank you all for continuing to support, love, and uplift my family during this time. 🤍

When I went to pick everything up, the owner looked at me and said,
“this was probably the most successful store we’ve ever had.”

…like WHAT?! They’ve been in business for as long as I can remember. I’m actually blown away. I don’t even have words.

I will have merch available for pickup at the spa starting TOMORROW and throughout next week!!
