Our current tracking vocal chain here at the studio. The mic and compressor may be swapped out depending on the situation.
* The Neumann TLM 103 is a condenser mic known for its bright character, clear definition, and ultra low noise
* The WA-273 is based on the legendary Neve 1073 preamp. It gives that British flavor that's often considered to be the "Holy Grail" of preamp tones
* The Apollo Twin features onboard DSP Acceleration that allows you to record with near-zero latency. Paired with the Console app, you're able to add digital versions of legendary gear to your recording signal path
* The UAD LA-2A compressor plugin is a faithful emulation of the infamous piece of hardware with the same name. It's based on optical compression and is known for its smooth sound.
* The chain is recorded into Pro Tools, widely considered to be the industry standard for audio recording and mixing.
