Access Group Conference 2025 Recap
Real-time workflows, smarter infrastructure, and meaningful partnerships. That was the theme throughout last weekβs JAG Conference.
We were proud to contribute across several sessions:
πΉ Inside the Future of Live Production, a post-NAB showcase presented by Varto Technologies with Vizrt and LiveU . We demonstrated real-world workflows using Vizion, 6, Viz , and LiveUβs Field Units & Cloud Solutions in a fully operational hybrid control room. Thank you to Chris Burgos (Vizrt) and Alex Joyce (LiveU) for joining the session and sharing their insights.
πΉ Real-Time Video for Public Safety, a panel discussion with LiveU, emergency services, and municipal leaders on how drones, bonded cellular video, and live remote feeds are helping teams respond faster and communicate more effectively. It was great to join Alex Joyce again, along with Lou Venezia (Bloomfield Fire Chief), Luis Figueiredo (Detective, Elizabeth Police Department), and Iain Waldrum (Firefighter and UAS Program Coordinator / Chief Pilot, East Hanover).
πΉ AV-over-IP Networking Fundamentals, a practical walkthrough of how teams can design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure to support modern video workflows. The session featured NETGEAR Pro AV solutions and focused on real-world implementation strategies.
πΉ Building, Expanding or Updating PEG Facilities, a roundtable focused on the challenges and strategies of scaling local media infrastructure. Thank you to Paul Distefano (DeSisti Lighting) and Bob Duthaler (JAG) for facilitating the conversation.
πΉ JAG Partners Dinner, a great way to close the day and a strong reminder of how much these town-to-technology partnerships matter.
And yes, there was even a signature cocktail. Vartoβs Triblaster Crisp Mojito. ππ
Thank you again to the JAG team, our partners at Vizrt and LiveU, and everyone who joined the conversation. Weβre looking forward to whatβs ahead.
