The gentle waves glistened in Setauket Harbor on Saturday, Sept. 27, where the Setauket Harbor Task Force hosted its eighth annual Setauket Harbor Day to celebrate the history of the harbor and bring awareness of the environmental issues facing the waterfront. The festivities were held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. just up from Se-Port Deli on Shore Road. The event was structured similarly to a convention, with environmental and historical groups on the left side of the road leading down to the docks providing information about the waterfront to curious attendees. To the right, trucks from Dilly Dilly Donuts and PJ’s Clam Shack sold food to those who were hungry.
