Just bought some Pearl drums for the studio. Definitely a few steps up from the previous Ludwig kit. Just have to put on some new drum heads, and we're ready to go. First recording session with these for tomorrow night!

The reviews continue to pour in for “Rolling Home,” the sixth CD by Long Island, New York-based singer-songwriter Glenn Jochum and his first that was recorded, mixed and mastered by Steve Leighton at Sheep Pasture Studio in Stony Brook. Steve played on every song, wielding both acoustic and electric guitars as needed, and added bass and drums to most songs. He also sang harmony on select songs and served as a spiritual guide, voice coach and musical arranger at turns.

I absolutely love this album. Maybe I liked “My Vacation” because it was more commercial and singable to. However, “Rolling Home” contains much more meaningful songs with powerful lyrics.
