90.3 FM WESS is located in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and we reside on the campus of East Stroudsburg University. We are licensed as a non-commercial radio station with the FCC, so you don't have to worry about hearing commercials all of the time! Well if you're a student at ESU, you can be one! Just visit us in the McGarry Communications building. If you're not hearing what you want, please contact us and we'll try to get something YOU want to hear on air. WESS radio is also the home away from home for the BBC. Whenever one of our WESS DJ's aren't on air, the BBC will give you all of your world news. Need to know what's going on? Top of the hour news briefs will give you a range of stories from local to world news, entertainment, sports and more!

WESS is bringing back sports broadcasting! Photo credits to 🏀

We broadcasted both the women’s and men’s basketball game yesterday. Both teams played against Mansfield, and they both won! The women’s team won 70-50 and the men’s team won 118-46.

Congrats to the ESU basketball teams on their wins, and make sure to tune in for the next game!!

Based out of Perkasie, PA, rock/alternative band “Concourse” showcases distorted guitar, vocal harmony, keys, bass, and drums in their original music. They released their first self titled EP in 2017 and their first LP “Songs About Home” in 2023. Concourse recently released a new single and music video for “Sins”. Music available on all streaming platforms.

Spellslinger!

Spellslinger is Scranton’s hot new indie rock band that consists of 5 members that are breaking genre barriers. Each member puts in their own magic that are experimental, electric, and ethereal.

Their latest hit song “Wishing Wells” is a sneak peak of the band's raw and exhilarating sound.

Stay tuned for their next song “Do Not Disturb” and their first up and coming EP to be released soon.

At WESS radio, we're thankful for all of the local artists keeping the scene alive in Eastern PA!

Another 90.3 WESS Artist Spotlight goes out to...Higbee!

Formed in 2024 Higbee is a heartfelt indie band from the Lehigh Valley, PA. With a homegrown feel, the original music brought to group by Matt Liddick shows the subtleties of living in small town PA. Noah Reichard, Ryan Susko and newest addition Alec Smith make up the rest of Higbee giving the once solo project a midwest/ country emo drive. They plan on recording over the winter and are looking forward to playing more shows in 2025.
