Charlotte has slowed down tremendously but it's still being sassy. Her kidneys aren't in the greatest of shape and she has some other serious health issues going on however she still does whatever she wants to do on her schedule

10 years ago today, I brought home my sweet girl. She's slowed down tremendously, and is an old lady in retirement. Our time left with her is very limited and we are loving her every moment. It's been hard to watch her age so rapidly, Her pain is well controlled and she has snacks all day. She's still able to go on short walks, but she tires easily now. This has been the hardest summer. Love your babies everyday because in a blink of an eye they are elderly.

We got excellent news this morning. Her blood work and her liver and kidney values came back normal. However we are still uncertain of the cause of the weight loss. She goes back in 2 weeks for a weight check and a recheck and possible x-rays. She's going to be starting a urinary incontinence drug. I'm unsure if we are going to start the new nerve receptor shot as it would be $225 a month every month. We would really have to ramp up the Creator fund to help finance the monthly medication expense. Her birthday is on Sunday we have a lot to celebrate and I guarantee you she will be spoiled. Thank you for all of the prayers and for loving my baby girl.

We've gotten good and bad news. No bone cancer or signs of Osteosarcoma thank the Lord. However she's lost almost 30 pounds in 8 months. We are running blood work to check internal organs. I'm crying at the vet because I'm that person owner. Just wanted to update

Please keep Charlotte in your thoughts. She developed a fluid filled sack on her leg very suddenly. She also has a cyst by her v***a, she keeps licking and burst open one on her back. We go in tomorrow and the clinic doesn't feel it's an emergency. She's spent the night licking herself raw.
