Turns out, YES, you can drink the bottle of wine that’s been rolling around in the back of your truck in the hot Florida sunshine for a month and a half. 😂☀️🍷

I am not a morning person. I will get up early (before 9:00 a.m. 😆) for a paycheck or my kids.

Today, it was a kid. Maddie was pet-sitting in PSJ and needed a ride back to Apalachicola so she could start her new job at Apalachicola Chocolate & Coffee Company.

I was finally awake and in the area to check out The Biscuit Factory in Apalachicola. It did not disappoint! I regret getting the bacon, egg, and cheese because the biscuit was so good that it should have been enjoyed all on its own.

Since I most likely won't make it there again anytime soon, feel free to bring me a plain biscuit if you go. 😍

Don't judge me. 😂 It was a long, emotional day, and apparently somewhere along the way, I completely lost my manners.

My friend Denise Vickers - The Headband Realtor hosts some EPIC open houses with the best partners, so even though I was sweaty, tired, and fresh off a day of helping my daughter move, I had to stop by.

And, as always, Denise did not disappoint! 🙌

She told me, “You HAVE to try this!” So naturally, I proceeded to spread that peanut sauce all over the chicken satay and eat it as I was walking out the door. 😂 I felt like a complete heathen...but y’all, IT WAS SO GOOD.

I was still eating chicken on a stick in my truck when I spotted the chef getting out of his car. I actually pulled over just so I could tell him how much I enjoyed the food. And now I fully intend to track him down for his smoked salmon cream cheese recipe because I’m pretty sure it needs to go on my plain bagels from SGI Bagel Co. 😋

But let’s talk about the HOUSE.

The open house was fabulous, the food was clearly fabulous...but y’all...

THIS HOUSE IS JUST WOW. 😍

I couldn’t resist making a video while I was there, so stay tuned for that!

When I first got into real estate, I had ZERO interest in selling vacant land.

I thought it was boring. I wanted the pretty houses! Give me the gorgeous kitchen, the amazing view, the perfectly staged living room… What was I supposed to get excited about with a vacant lot—a tree? 🌳🤣

Now I LOVE selling vacant land. ❤️

I’m not really selling dirt and trees. I’m selling a blank canvas for someone’s dream.

The future house. The porch. The view. The pool. The morning coffee. The family gatherings. All the things that could be there.

And then there’s THIS part. 👇

Getting a message like this from a seller when their lot goes under contract? 🥹❤️

Turns out vacant land isn’t boring at all.

So, vacant land, I was wrong about you. Please accept my apology. 😂
