A Full-Circle Moment for Black Pine Landscaping!
Back in 2012, I got my start in the landscaping industry working for Joe Buchanan in Lodi. I spent six years working alongside Joe, learning the ins and outs of the industry and developing the skills and work ethic that helped shape where I am today.
At the time, I never would have imagined that one day I would own and operate my own landscaping company.
From the very beginning, Joe has been nothing but supportive and encouraging. He continues to offer advice, share his knowledge, and support me as I worked to build and grow my business.
Today was a pretty special, I had the opportunity to purchase a dump truck from Joe to add to our growing fleet at Black Pine Landscaping.
It’s a surreal feeling to look back at where I started and see how far things have come. Going from working for Joe and learning the trade to now purchasing a piece of his equipment to help grow my own company is something I never would have imagined 14 years ago.
Joe, I can’t thank you enough for everything you have taught me over the years, your continued support, and, of course, being willing to part ways with your baby.
Moments like this remind me why I started this journey and how much the people who helped me along the way mean to me.
Here is to remembering where you came from, appreciating those who helped you get there, and continuing to build something you can be proud of.
