Honored to ride with two titans of alternative transportation!! Scott Rogers, Jeremy Gragert and I went for a fun ride talking about the benefits of walkable and bikeable communities, plus how passenger rail between EC and The Cities will be soooo awesome!!

And yes, we did discuss what it’s like going head to head in the recent Eau Claire City Council President election 😮

We love biking to all the wonderful local waters with our 3 boys! The kids are usually happy and well behaved when we’re biking and mom and dad get exercise and keep our bodies loose. The relaxation and tension release of the ride sets the stage for a chill time!

I was gonna mountain bike, but the trails were too wet. So I ditched my shoes and ditched the blues and found something simple and sacred that stirred my shining soul!

Parking is always free & easy for bikes!!

I ride my bike downtown because I love the exercise, the fresh air, and I prioritize feeling connected to the earth and my community over speed and efficiency. And now I bike to save money and get the best parking spot.

I’m grinning wheel-to-wheel after receiving some official recognition for my biking videos! The EC Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) has named me the 2026 BPAC award winner for Outstanding Individual!

“Through his videos and production efforts about biking in Eau Claire, he crafts love letters to the City and the unique opportunity to explore it on Bike.”

And it’s true, my videos are LOVE letters to Eau Claire. I am gushing with gratitude for our community and can’t believe my luck in stumbling into this beautiful place full of kind and creative people, wonderful waters, and beautiful bada$$ bike paths!!!

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) a group of dedicated EC folks who care about making it fun and easy to walk or bike in our amazing city. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee holds regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at City Hall beginning at 5:30pm. I remember the first time we saw a spaceship on the bike trail. My 2 year old son was amazed and it was always a treat to spot one of these mysterious vehicles zooming through Eau Claire. I’ve been hoping to ride one for the past 5 years and my dream finally came true thanks to my friend Andy aka Andrew Kariger. The velomoblile is built for speed and comfort. We had a blast cruising through EC and out in the country to really open er up a bit! Looking forward to the next time I get to sit back, relax, and PUMP THOSE LEGS!!!
