Abuela’s House Rules 🪑👵🌶️

If you wouldn’t say it in front of your abuela without catching a chancla, getting “the look,” or having your mouth rinsed out with soap…
🚫 Stop.
🤔 Rethink it.
💬 Then speak.

We love a good conversation — even when we don’t all agree — but respeto comes first. Let’s keep the porch talk friendly, the coffee warm, and the chanclas safely in the closet. 😉

Our hearts are broken for the Kerrville community and all those devastated by the catastrophic flooding. So many lives have been lost, including young campers whose futures were just beginning. Families are grieving. Homes have been swept away. And entire communities are left facing unimaginable loss.

In moments like this, we cling to the hope and comfort only God can provide.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

We lift up every family affected in prayer.
We pray for the search teams, first responders, and volunteers risking their lives to help others.
We pray for healing, for comfort, and for the strength to rebuild.
