Do you enjoy studying genealogy? The Genealogy society is hosting an event on April 26th, a genealogical swap meeting in which anyone can bring their notes and photographs to share with others. A copier is available for use. The hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Spring Swap will be held at the Francisco Community Center in Stokes County (7104 NC Hwy 89, Westfield, NC). Debbie Brown, the president of the society will speak on Using the Family Search Website in which she will be giving tips on how to find info not just looking up names. This session will be held at 10:30 am.

Get your tickets today at the Stoneville Town Hall! Breakfast is free to all Stoneville residents, 55 and older, who live inside the city limits or have water and/or sewer services. Any person who lives outside the city limits or does not have water and/or sewer services can come but there will be a $9.50 charge.

I am thrilled to announce once again the incredible achievements of my students, Liyah Cole, Jenna LaPrad, and Keagan Tuggle. They have been named North Carolina's 2024 Adobe Certified Professional Fall Qualifiers and earned first place in the state! Their outstanding accomplishments have secured them an invitation to represent North Carolina at Certiport’s 2025 Adobe Certified Professional U.S. National Championship, which will take place in Dallas, Texas, from June 15 to 19, 2025.

This prestigious competition provides an unparalleled opportunity for our students to showcase their skills, compete for scholarships and prizes, and gain invaluable experience within the industry. However, the costs associated with this trip—airfare, lodging, meals, registration fees, and other expenses—are significant.
