Videography needs. Weddings, Recitals, Special Events Why is Videography by Dawna T so inexpensive?

Dawna started off volunteering to film school plays. She really enjoyed what she was doing and never thought much more about it until she was approached by a bride wanting to have her wedding filmed. The bride said that she really wanted a video of her big day, but it just was not in her budget to spend, at minimum, $2,500. Dawna could not believe that was actually the going rate for videography.

Sure enough after doing research, that is what she found. Several colleagues have told Dawna that she needs to raise her prices because her work is awesome and she could charge so much more, but she refuses saying “I really enjoy doing this. It’s fun for me, and hearing that the bride absolutely loves the video when she receives it makes my heart happy. I want the couple to be able to afford a video of their big day so they have something to watch many years from now and still smile.”
