Today marked the conclusion of the very first Bank On Int Internship Program as our 9 amazing UTRGV students delivered their final presentations! 💼📊 Over the past 10 weeks, they’ve worked alongside financial institutions across the RGV, gaining valuable hands-on experience and building skills for their future careers.

👏 Congratulations to these talented individuals, and a huge thank you to our banking partners, UTRGV, and Edinburg EDC for making this program possible! 💵🎉

Our Executive Director Raudel Garza, Mayor Ramiro Garza, Jr., Councilman Daniel “Dan” Diaz, EDC Board Director Gregory Vasquez, Board Secretary Marc Moran, and EDC's International Business Consultant Jeffrey Salcedo joined CANACINTRA Presidente Gerardo Martinez, Vice Presidente Enrique Ramos, Directora de Desarrollo Industrial Fatima Ontiveros, among others from the Rio Bravo delegation, for a very productive session discussing future opportunities for collaboration.

🚜 Today we celebrated the groundbreaking of Equipment Pros in Edinburg! 🏗️

This new facility marks an exciting step forward for the company and our city. Through our Commercial Recruitment Program, Equipment Pros is creating at least 20 full-time jobs and generating local sales tax revenue that supports our community.

Our Executive Director Raudel Garza, along with Mayor Ramiro Garza, Jr., Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez, Hidalgo County District Attorney Terry Palacios, Commissioner Ellie Torres, and singer Bobby Pulido joined us for this milestone moment.

We’re proud to welcome them to Edinburg and support businesses that invest in our city’s future. 💼📈
