Not every used vehicle is a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

And that difference can matter.

Payne Edinburg CDJR can now offer Stellantis-backed Certified Pre-Owned options on eligible vehicles.

Depending on the vehicle and certification tier, that may include a 125-point inspection, CARFAX vehicle-history report, factory-backed limited warranty coverage, roadside assistance, towing benefits, and rental or taxi allowance.

Qualifying Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and Fiat Certified Pre-Owned vehicles can include a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, measured from the original in-service date.*

Most other eligible makes may qualify under CPO Go with different warranty coverage.

Here’s another important part:

When we certify an eligible vehicle, we include the certification in the advertised price. We are not adding a separate CPO certification fee at purchase.

So when you compare two similar used vehicles, don’t only compare the sticker price.

Compare:

The inspection.

The vehicle history.

The warranty coverage.

And what support comes with the vehicle after the sale.

Apparently one of my salespeople needs a complete social-media rebrand. 😂

Caleb has already become known around here as Caveman Caleb because of the ridiculous caveman videos he’s been making.

But during this conversation we discovered another option that might fit him even better:

Muscleman Caleb.

And unfortunately…

The comparison is pretty accurate. 😭

Now he’s even talking about recreating the look himself for his profile.

So I’m letting you guys decide.

Should we keep:

🗿 CAVEMAN CALEB

or officially rebrand him:

💪🏻 MUSCLEMAN CALEB

Vote below.

And whatever wins might actually become his new social-media identity. 😂

I decided to let my daughter do the vehicle walkaround this time.

I gave her a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and basically said:

“Show everybody why they should buy it.”

Her sales presentation included:

“It’s shiny.”

The steering wheel is soft.

The horn has a good “beep beep.”

The windshield wipers look nice.

And there is an American flag. 😂

Apparently I’ve been making these walkarounds way too complicated all these years.

Honestly, watching her confidently make up her own reasons why people should buy this Jeep might be one of my favorite videos we’ve done.

Now I need everybody to decide:

Should she review another vehicle?

And what should I give her next? 😂👇🏻

I asked Caleb what he did in the military.

I expected a quick answer.

That is not what I received. 😂

Caleb served as a Marine Corps Automotive Maintenance Technician, MOS 3521, working on vehicles such as Humvees.

But Caleb’s version of the job was essentially:

Lay underneath a truck.

Hit an exhaust pipe with a hammer.

Look busy.

Repeat. 😭

Then the story took a turn.

He explained how he became an NCO twice, got himself into serious trouble, made a very bad decision in Miami, faced the consequences and ultimately chose to stay and complete his service.

He later earned rank again, finished his remaining time and moved forward.

Now he works with us selling cars—and somehow the caveman videos aren’t even the craziest part of his background. 😂

Veterans and service members:

What was your military job, and what is the funniest oversimplified way you would explain it to civilians?

A couple people called me out in the comments because I hadn’t posted any specials on minivans.

So I walked outside and decided to fix that. 😂

On select eligible Chrysler Pacificas, I’m offering:

$7,000 off MSRP on the prior style

or

$2,000 off MSRP on the newer style.

We have several Pacificas available in different colors, so if you’ve been looking for a family vehicle with plenty of passenger and cargo space, this may be worth checking out.

And if you see an offer from me that you’re interested in:

SAVE THE VIDEO.

I create content all day, and sometimes my customers remember my own offers better than I do. 😂

Bring the saved video so my team can verify the exact eligible vehicle and terms.

Interested?

Send me your full name + phone number + “Pacifica” and my team will contact you.

If you’ve ever worked at a car dealership, you already know how this goes. 😂

We’ve been looking for one vehicle key for THREE DAYS.

Nobody knows where it is.

Nobody remembers who checked it out.

And somehow everybody is completely certain THEY weren’t the last person who touched it. 😭

At this point I’m ready to have another key made because I already know what’s going to happen:

The second we make the replacement…

The original key is magically going to appear. 💀

Dealership employees:

What’s the longest you’ve ever spent looking for a missing key?

Adrian Gonzalez understands that some consumers have trust issues with dealerships and don’t feel comfortable walking into a showroom.

Gonzalez, general manager of Payne Edinburg Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in South Texas, is working to change that by humanizing his staff with social media content that highlights their personalities and goes behind the scenes of dealership operations. Gonzalez is front and center as well, doing vehicle walkarounds, promoting special deals for social media followers, recording podcasts about auto industry issues and interacting with his team.

In one video, Gonzalez took his two top-selling salespeople to Men’s Wearhouse to buy suits — a regular tradition for high performers. Some customers who follow Gonzalez online come into the dealership knowing about the competition and try to help their salesperson win.

This personable approach is working.

Grateful to be featured in Automotive News today.
The headline says we close deals with TikTok videos that show salespeople aren’t “scum of the earth.”
That’s been the whole point.
We didn’t start posting to chase views. We started posting to show the real dealership — the sales floor, the service department, the team, the messy days, and how we actually treat customers.
No dances. No trending audio. Just turning the camera on and being honest.
What came with it:
• Customers who already trust us before they walk in
• Free inbound leads on top of paid advertising
• Salespeople and technicians applying because they already know the culture
• A team that’s now part of the content, not just watching it
If you’re in this business and still thinking social media is just noise, I’d challenge that. Transparency is becoming one of the strongest tools a dealership has.
Appreciate Vince Bond Jr. and Automotive News for telling the story.

I think we finally figured out why Caleb’s been struggling. 😂

I catch him celebrating because he sold a car.

So I ask:

“Have you made a caveman video recently?”

Nope.

There’s the problem. 😭

Apparently the caveman videos were doing more than entertaining everybody.

So now I’ve given Caleb a challenge:

Sell another car today and I’ll buy him a 12-pack of energy drinks.

Simple.

At this point, I just want the caveman back. 😂

What do you guys think?

Should Caleb bring the caveman videos back or retire them forever?

SNAPCHAT SPOTLIGHT

CALEB STOPPED THE CAVEMAN VIDEOS 😭🗿

Then his sales slowed down.

Coincidence?

I THINK NOT. 😂

Challenge:

SELL ANOTHER CAR TODAY

= 12-PACK

Bring back Caveman Caleb?

YES or NO?
