Edison, NJ – The financial pressures on the Edison Jets Sports Building project continue to mount, with two new resolutions on Wednesday’s Township Council agenda for $561,867.53. The increase will push the total cost of the facility to an staggering $$17,716,620.70. These latest requests, for specialized flooring and turf tiles, highlight the ongoing “cost skyrocket” that has plagued the project.

Edison, NJ – Over 150 enthusiastic residents gathered last night to throw their support as independent Mayoral candidate Dave Tingle and the “People’s Choice 2025” council ticket kicked off their campaign, marking a significant moment in the unfolding Edison municipal elections. The event’s highlight was a powerful endorsement from gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, who urged voters to embrace change in the upcoming election.

Edison Township spokeswoman Ashley M. Chaudhry confirmed that the Edison Police Department was informed of the raid. “Our police department was notified that Immigration Enforcement would be in the area today. No further detailed information was provided. Our officers adhere to the current guidelines, specifically Attorney General Law Enforcement Directive No. 2018-6v2, which does not permit our police department to be involved in ICE operations.”

Two local standouts, Highland Park senior Markos Hantsoulis and Edison junior Landen Cruz, delivered exceptional javelin performances at the New Balance Nationals. Hantsoulis clinched the national title with a throw of 203′ 3.75″ while Cruz finished in second-place with a of 202′ 9″. Both athletes showcased their ability to perform under pressure, unleashing their best throws in the final rounds to earn New Balance All American honors.
