Reliving last week's Halloween fun at our annual Glow Party!

Holding a pose for longer than 1 minute!

I know that can sound intimidating, but holding a yoga pose for longer than 1 minute can be adapted to any level you’re at in yoga.

That said, when you maintain a position at your own pace, it helps access the deep spaces of tissue and fascia, strengthening those areas and boosting your overall strength and flexibility.

Using the Barre!

What Does Cheating Look Like During a Workout? đŸ€„

Initially, it might seem harmless, but eventually, you’ll realize that cheating hampers your progress and yields no results.

Cheating on your fitness journey impacts both your body and mind. It’s a choice to do just enough to get by without actually gaining anything in the end.

Whether you’re at the gym, home, or elsewhere, it’s best to give your workout your full effort. You’ll end up feeling better physically and mentally.

You read it first! Fitness isnt all about weight loss!

Healthiness= Weight Loss in fitness is probably one of the biggest lies in the industry.

Weightloss doesn’t mean your healthy because sometimes instead of losing the weight you can replace the fat with muscle or improve the health in the inside of the body as well.
Focusing on other aspects of fitness instead of weightloss can actually be the greater good in your fitness journey.

Question What has barre taught you?

We asked a Regular who comes too Barre what it has taught her since she started and here is what she said. (P.S. Little Grant is featured in our client testimonial photo)

“Barre has taught me the importance of a strong foundation, emphasizing that it’s not just about arm workouts or running to stay in shape. Instead, it’s about understanding that the hips, pelvis, core, arms, back, and more need proper stabilization and correct ex*****on. I didn’t realize how much goes into keeping the body properly conditioned until I started learning barre with Emily!”

How to reset your mind to keep going even in the burn and shake?

There is always a war of the headspace when doing an exercise that is pushing you to your limit.

And it’s important to understand that you can stop if your body can’t make it anymore. But sometimes it’s good to give your body that last nudge to push to the end to improve your stamina in your next workout.

But how can I train my mind to keep going?
Well is it can’t happen all at once. It’s training your mind the same as in exercise. You have to build them both together.

Each week SET GOALS for yourself and gradually increase your intensity in your reps or increase your hold on a workout for 3-10 secs.
