This was the very first “allergy free” cookbook that I ever bought. And that was roughly 11 years ago. I got it from ThriftBooks because yall know I’ve ALWAYS been thrifty!

I reached for this cookbook this morning and when I pulled it from the cabinet, I was flooded with emotions. It was like I was in our old kitchen cooking for my dairy and egg allergic toddler again. Although, he’s no longer a toddler he’s still just as allergic as he was back then. This cookbook has not only been a resource for me but a comfort like “I’ve got you Lyndsie.”

I don’t enjoy holding on to things. BUT I will always hold on to this. It’s the “allergy hug” from the toddler allergy Mom I once was to the allergy Mom I am now.

Well…now that I’m all in my feels this morning…how’s your morning going? Whats for brunch? 😅😅

As a busy mom, I’m all about finding the simple things that make taking care of myself a little easier. 🤍
