On Sept. 16, a beloved Edmonds restaurant, Rise and Shine Bakery, fell victim to vandalism. A man threw a rock at the door after looking into the building. No one was hurt, but the owner was there, baking at the time of the incident.

Rise and Shine’s loyal customers rallied to support the business, and one even fixed the door. The Edmonds community, and the business community, came together, as we need to, in the face of indiscriminate violence.
