Angel and Kriss are excited to announce the release of the latest Doc Zippy horse Just Keep Zippin' 🐴🦖children's book featuring Trax, the T Rex train conductor who realizes he needs glasses. In Back On Track, Doc Zippy guides Trax through going to the eye doctor to pick out his first pair of glasses. All Doc Zippy books uplift kids (and parents) with whimsical illustrations and concepts that guide through emotional and physical challenges. Inspired by Zippy, the real-life therapy horse, this title stars the real-life characters from The Museum at Dinosaur Junction, www.DinosaurJunction.org. Hi there! Welcome to our page about our new series of children's books. Just Keep Zippin' (Just Keep Zipping) stories are all about faith and positivity in our increasingly anxious world. The first two books of the series of twelve are now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other booksellers. Our mother/daughter team of Kriss & Angel hope that you will find the stories filled with engaging illustrations and whimsical but useful thoughts as Doc Zippy sees animals that encounter challenges at school and work.

In Book 1: Hair We Go! Doc Zippy sees Harry, a hairless cat who has been feeling really down about not having fur. Zippy reminds him of how his unique qualities bring comfort to his owner, Cindy, who is losing her own hair due to medical treatments!

In Book 2: Ears to Hear, Doc Zippy sees Boom Boom, an elephant who needs hearing aids. Zippy finds ways to help Boom Boom get over his fears of being different in school. Zippy also helps Boom Boom picture the new world of confidence and activities that he’ll be able to enjoy with his new ears. Author Kriss includes personal examples from her own lifelong profound hearing loss. Illustrator daughter Angel (and human hearing aid with ironically supersonic hearing of her own) captures imagery and concepts from real family & school situations.

Zippy’s insights and “Hoovescriptions” guide his patients through common worries and challenges faced by young children. New ways of thinking, encouragement, and solutions empower each patient in the series to conquer the challenges, and to celebrate the positive impacts they can have on others.

We're just cranking up! Angel has included free dinosaur art in the back of the books, and you'll see pictures of our real-life Zippy horse who inspired us all. Ten more titles are coming, including Angel's Back on Track, about a TRex train conductor who realizes he needs glasses! Angel has included Billy, Tilly the Tortoise, Irwin the Iguana, and Stumpy the Crested Gecko from DinosaurJunction.org where she adores volunteering!
