Over the course of the year, I've enjoyed a wide variety of newgrass, progressive grass -- music played on fiddles, banjos, mandolins, and guitar that dwells just beyond the edges of bluegrass. It's been a lot of fun. To celebrate BEYOND's first anniversary, I picked out selections from some of my favorite artists. (Yeah, I bet you can guess several of them.)
