✨ Happy Birthday Jane Austen! ✨

in honor of Jane Austen day, here is my personal ranking of all of her novels from favorite to least fave.

1 - EMMA! 5/5 ⭐️ absolutely loved! funny, witty, and very sweet. her best novel to me by far. the 1995 movie adaptation is just as good as the novel, and Emma was the inspo for the movie Clueless! 🎥

2 - NORTHANGER ABBEY! 5/5 ⭐️ as well. loved the main character Catherine and her obsession with gothic novels and haunted castles, as she is vying for the attention of the guy she wants to be with. 🏯

3 - PERSUASION - 5/5 ⭐️ a beautiful story of an old romance rekindled 8 years later, couldn’t stop turning the pages. 📖

4 - PRIDE & PREJUDICE - 4/5 ⭐️ I’m sure we all know by now this classic tale of overcoming pride and prejudices, as well as Mr. Darcy and Ms. Bennet’s eventual infatuation with each other. the original enemies to lovers lol! the 2005 movie adaptation is one of my fave movies to watch, absolutely gorgeous! 😍

5 - SENSE & SENSIBILITY - 3/5 ⭐️ the first Jane Austen book that I read! a great first impression of her for me as a classic novelist. follows the tale of two sisters as romance unexpectedly finds them. the 1995 movie adaptation starring Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Alan Rickman, and Hugh Grant is so fun to watch! 🎞️

6 - MANSFIELD PARK - 2/5 ⭐️ not my fave! the main character was treated like s**t by her whole family lol and wasn’t as strong willed and lovable as Austen’s other main characters. couldn’t believe after the wholeeeee story unfolds that the main character marries her cousin 🤨

Mockingjay Reread 🥀🏹
ughhhhh!!!! one of my fave books ever. this reread only took me 24 hours; I literally could not stop turning the pages. 😩

10/5 stars ⭐️ this is the PEAK of action, thriller, dystopian novels. the drastic change of events & circumstances. the struggles and the betrayals!! Peeta’s hijacking 🥲 so damn good yet so heartbreaking! the last couple of chapters & the epilogue always breaks my heart (especially moreso after reading Haymitch’s prequel)!

Catching Fire Reread🔥

6/5 stars.. because this sequel is way better than the first book in the series!

Rereading this after reading Sunrise on the Reaping just puts everything in a new perspective. the unexpected plot twists, the struggle for survival, the devastation... and it’s all just so good!

my fave thing though about Catching Fire is Peeta’s devotion and unconditional love for Katniss. in a bookish world full of toxic mmc’s, we need more Peeta’s! ❤️‍🔥

decided it was time for a Hunger Games series reread since reading Sunrise on the Reaping 📚🏹🌾🥲

still a 5/5 for me; an absolutely amazing read ! fast paced, gnarly AF, and of course heartbreaking. Peeta is one of my all time fave characters EVER written ‼️

SUNRISE ON THE REAPING 🥲💜

Haymitch’s is one of the most heartbreaking tales I have ever read.. with what he went thru with his Hunger Games, his family, his girl, ugh! 😭 even the fact that he was best friends with Katniss’s dad when they were younger and never said anything about it 💔

This book was an amazing read. If you know me you know I love a good prequel; Sunrise on the Reaping is arguably the best prequel I have ever read!

5/5 heartbreaking stars.. highly recommend this one! 📚⭐️

Super(Full)Moon in Ta**us today! 🌕🌎

💚 This full moon is all about abundance, financial matters, matters of our home, sensuality, earthly pleasures, and earthly comforts. a great time for questioning our values and what they mean to us, expanding and exploring! also taking care of matters of the home and preparing a cozy place to spend the cold Winter months.

♉️ When the moon is in Ta**us, we feel the need for emotional stability and to feel comfortable & happy with where we are in life. the moon in Ta**us makes us want to feel grounded on our path to our Highest Good! thankfully mother moon is happy in the sign of Ta**us!

🕯️ A good time to reflect on if we are happy in where we are in life, and if not what goals can we set to fix that? also a great time to work on releasing blockages surrounding our money mindset so we can tap into the energy of abundance (a little candle magic never hurt anybody 😉🕯️)! you could also meditate with mother moon with the intention of having an epiphany to help you on your path if you feel lost or stuck.

♉️ Ta**us is the Fixed Earth sign that is ruled by Venus and corresponds to the Heart Chakra. a great crystal to work with during this super(full)moon would be Green Aventurine! A stone of manifesting with ease, Heart chakra protection, and calming, protective energy. Another great crystal for Full Moons is Moonstone, a magical stone of intuition and Divine Femininity that taps straight into the energy of Mother Moon. wearing Moonstone jewelry during a Full Moon can be kinda intense though, cause you are tapping straight into the power of Mother Moon. so if you feel overwhelmed or irritated just take it off.

✨ Ta**us loves material comforts, pleasures of the earth, and a lil bit of luxury; so treat yourself to something that makes you happy this week, you deserve it! when the moon is full, we are in our full power; so fill your cup and allow yourself to enjoy life’s pleasures!

happy dia de los mu***os! I love halloween & dia de los mu***os because it’s the perfect time to remember and honor our bloodlines, to honor those who came before us, and to honor those who are no longer with us. 💌

autumn reminds us that sometimes things have to die in order to be reborn and renewed. death is the only true constant in life; but it doesn’t always have to be a sad thing. ❤️
