🎟️ there will also be raffles from some great local businesses and the proceeds from that and the tickets will be going to Robin’s ongoing & extensive medical bills as well as home bills.

My fave things from The Chamber of Secrets that they left out from the movies 🐍🏰📚🪄

1. Harry spent a month with the Weasleys at their home, The Burrow, before the new school year started. A ghoul lived in their attic above Ron’s bedroom. 👻

2. Mr. Weasley literally fought Draco Malfoy’s dad in the bookstore at Diagon Alley for making fun of Hermione’s parents. 👊🏻

3. Peeves, the school poltergeist, always causing insane mischief (I forgot to mention him in the first post)! 🏰

4. Nearly Headless Nick’s Deathday Party on Halloween with the other ghosts and ghouls of the school that Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to. 🎃

5. It was Professor Binns, the only ghost teacher, who educated the students on the Chamber of Secrets (not McGonagall like in the movies). 🐍

6. When Lockhart organized a Valentine’s Day to lift school spirits, complete with little dwarves that were hired to deliver & sing Valentine’s songs. Harry was sent a Valentine’s song, and his delivery dwarf tackled him lol. 💌🧌

7. The Battle in the Chamber of Secrets with Harry & Fawkes the Phoenix vs. Tom Riddle & his Basilisk was just so much more satisfying/fast paced than the movie’s portrayal! ⚔️🐍📔

🪄🏰🦉⚡️ My fave details from The Philosopher’s Stone that they left out of the movies!

1. When Harry was growing up (before he knew he was a wizard) random wizards and witches would come up to him on the street, hugging him and shaking his hand, thanking him for what he had done, and then disappear. ✨

2. It was Harry, Ron, Hermione, and NEVILLE that discovered Fluffy on the 3rd floor corridor because Malfoy tricked Harry and Ron. Hermione and Neville were really just there cause they got locked out of the Gryffindor tower. 🐶

3. The wholeeeee chapter about Norbert! From Ron’s hand getting infected from the dragon bite, to Hermione and Harry giving Norbert to Charlie Weasley’s friends on the astronomy tower to bring back to Romania, & the fact that he was almost a full size dragon by the time they gave him away. 🐉

4. it was Harry, Hermione, Draco and NEVILLE (not Ron) who got detention overnight in the Forbidden Forest. 🌳🦄

5. The centaurs were SUPER into astrology and could foretell future events based on the position of the planets. 🪐

6. When Quirrell/Voldemort called Snape “an oversized bat”. lmfao 🦇

7. How it was Dumbledore who saved Harry’s life from Quirrell/Voldemort! 🧙🏼‍♂️

🌹🫀 LIGHTLARK (pictured with a Bloodstone butterfly)

📖 trials and dark secrets mixed with elemental magics, different realms with different elemental powers.

⭐️ sooo many mixed reviews online lol but it’s gonna be a 2/5 stars for me.. I started off really liking it but towards the end I just wanted to be done lol. it had elements of Throne of Glass, Hunger Games, but ESPECIALLY had elements of A Court of Thorns and Roses… you can tell that the author was really inspired by ACOTAR.. like almost a lil too inspired in a way that felt repetitive and unoriginal. the writing style isn’t that great either, I know it’s technically YA HOWEVER I have read plenty of YA books that were very well written!

📚 was a bit confusing at first with the fast paced world building, but easy to get into after the first few chapters. just a lotttt going on lol

🦋 it’s gonna be a maybe/no from me for this one. I would never tell people to not read a book, unless of course you’re my friend and I know your reading preferences lol🤪, cause I know we all have different tastes but I was just disappointed!
