YOU KNOW THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALWAYS PREACHING ABOUT POSITIVITY? Like, “Just think good thoughts, and everything will work out!”

Yeah, NO.
Sometimes, I don’t want to hear it.

Sometimes, life just SUCKS, and no amount of manifesting good vibes is going to change the fact that everything is FALLING APART while we’re expected to just KEEP GRINDING THROUGH IT.

Like, do people even realize how IMPOSSIBLE things are right now? You want to buy EGGS for the week? That’s $20-$40 GONE, JUST LIKE THAT. Fast food? Might as well sit down at a restaurant because THE PRICES ARE THE SAME. The electric bill is RIDICULOUS. Rent is UNAFFORDABLE. Home prices? LAUGHABLE. And yet, we’re just supposed to WORK HARDER, KEEP SMILING, AND ACT LIKE THINGS WILL MAGICALLY GET BETTER?

And it’s not just money.
IT’S LIFE.
• ENDLESS LAUNDRY.
• NEVER-ENDING DISHES.
• WORK, KIDS, PETS, BILLS, REPEAT.
• AND FOR WHAT? So we can HOPE that house prices come down? HOPE that rent gets cheaper? HOPE we can afford to survive when we’re OLD AND UNABLE TO WORK?

It’s NEVER HAPPENING.
LIFE IS AN EXHAUSTING, NEVER-ENDING CYCLE.
Work, clean, pay bills, sleep, repeat.
AND IT NEVER STOPS.

And I’m sorry, but I CAN’T BE THE PERSON WHO TELLS YOU IT’S ALL GOING TO BE OKAY. BECAUSE HONESTLY? I DON’T KNOW THAT IT WILL.

This isn’t me being negative.
THIS IS JUST A MOM TRYING TO SURVIVE.

Yeah, this is a DEPRESSING POST, but I know there are OTHERS WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY, and I just want to say:

YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

Our local grocery store O'Reillys YIG in Prescott Ontario, where Staff did an amazing job of helping us choose Canadian products, and even made in Ontario food! Storm Chips were selling fast today with the snow storm we are expected to get starting tonight. Shoppers appreciated having extra signs to let us know country of origin. ❤️ 🇨🇦
