Stephens Media Group is selling its four stations in Alexandria LA to Mark Porter’s Globecom Media.
Globecom previously owned two stations in El Campo and Bay City,TX and Porter hosts the self-syndicated Classic Country show “Saturday Night Gold“. He has also programmed stations in Alexandria and served as Operations Manager for First Natchez Radio in Natchez MS.
In the deal, he will acquire Country “LA 103.5” KLAA Tioga, Christian AC “104.3 The Bridge” KEZP Bunkie, Classic Country “105.5 K-Buck” KBKK Ball, and AC “Sunny 106.9” KEDG Alexandria.
Stephens retains its cluster in Monroe LA and stations in California, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon and Washington.
