Contest Rules:
No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of winning, or in case of event tickets, before the date of the event, whichever comes first, otherwise prize will be forfeited. Winner must provide a picture ID upon claiming a prize and sign a declaration of eligibility. Winner must wait 30 days before being eligible to participate in any other station contest. Limit one prize per household.
Winner will be responsible for any federal, state or local tax liability that may arise as a result of acceptance of a prize. For prizes
valued at $600.00 or more, a winner will be required to provide his/her social security number and to fill out IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer’s identification number.) The value of the prize will be reported at the end of the calendar year on IRS Form 1099. The amount reported will reflect the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of any merchandise prizes.
All network listeners participate in network-wide contests for the prize offered. Odds of winning will vary based upon the total number of entries from each La Tricolor, Jose market.
By entering any contest, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Entravision Communications Corporation, its affiliates, subsidiaries, contest sponsors and their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all claims, damages, and/or liability, which may arise, directly or indirectly, from the contestant’s participation in such contest or acceptance or use of such prize.
By participating in the contest, the contestant acknowledges that the Station may use his/her name, voice and likeness for promotional purposes, for a period of one year after the acceptance of the prize, without any additional permission or consideration.
The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement. The Station is not responsible for any technical problems, computer problems, telephone malfunctions, dropped or unlistenable mobile phone calls, or the caller’s inability to get through the telephone lines, or technical problems relating to the e-mailing of entries. The Station, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Website, or is otherwise in violation of the rules. The Station also reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including the infection of computer systems by viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures of any sort.
No cash value, substitution of prizes, or transfer of prizes will be allowed, except that the contest sponsor may reserve the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute prizes of comparable value. Each winner must be at least 18 years of age and meet stipulated requirements in order to claim a prize. If winner does not meet the requirements, that individual shall forfeit any right to receive the prize.
Decisions of the judges are final and binding with respect to all contest-related matters.
Employees of Entravision Communications Corporation and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, its advertising agencies, and participating sponsors/promotional partners, and their immediate family members, and employees of other radio stations in the market, are not eligible to participate in or win Station promotions and contests.
Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the station’s office located at 1803 North Imperial Avenue, in El Centro, California.
