Calexico officials and community members gathered Monday to celebrate the near-completion of the city’s new Intermodal Transportation Center. Located at 220 Third Street near the Calexico West Port of Entry, the facility will officially begin service on May 12 and replace the current Third and Paulin Avenue bus stop.

The new transportation hub includes shaded waiting areas, EV charging stations, public restrooms, ADA-compliant improvements and other amenities designed to improve accessibility and public transit services for residents and visitors alike.
