Warming Shelter Update - Many thanks to all who have volunteered and sent food and supplies for the Warming Shelter! Plenty of food is scheduled, but late evening and overnight volunteers are still needed.
Last night 10 volunteers assisted through the afternoon, evening, and overnight. 9 individuals came in for hot food and drinks and to warm up. 4 were able to take showers. 2 stayed overnight.
The Ministerial Association plans to be open most of this week from 5 pm to 7:30 am, as long as overnight temperatures are below 20 degrees. Please watch this group, the Hope Center page, and the West Central page for updates. Info also available from KESM.
For daytime warming, the El Dorado Springs Community Center, public library, and senior center are available. Thanks again for everyone's support!
