The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health today hosted a special screening of the award-winning film at AMC Century City 15, followed by a panel discussion exploring , family dynamics, and cultural values. The panel featured the film’s lead actor and producer Lucy Liu, director Eric Lin, actor Lawrence Shou, and LACDMH Director Dr. Lisa H. Wong (Psy.D.).

was honored to be invited to this private screening and presented the mural tote bags co-created by our members to Dr. Wong and Chief of Staff Patty Choi as a commemorative gift. 👏🤩🙆🏻‍♀️

What a beautiful sunny day! 😎🥳
Today, we hosted the & annual gathering at Schabarum Regional Park in Rowland Heights. 🤗

With a potluck 🥘🥗 + BBQ 🥩🌭, everyone brought their signature dishes, and we all ate to our hearts’ content 😋

A special thank-you to art teacher Rachel for guiding everyone in making handmade greeting cards and hand-painted T-shirts 😍
We would also like to express our gratitude to Jeff for leading the 🪘 for our volunteers. We had so much fun and truly relaxed together.

Most importantly, our deepest gratitude 🙏 goes to all the volunteers for your dedication and contributions 🫶🏻

作爲UCLA CTSI關於AI在醫療應用的諮詢小组成員🙋🏻‍♀️期盼未來一年能學習AI如何在更安全可信賴的前提下，幫助年長者學習適應不可避免的醫療保健AI應用🧑🏻‍💻及如何補強AI很難取代的“人味兒”及同理心🧑🏻‍⚕️❤️

As a member of advisory panel on AI applications in healthcare, I look forward to learning in the coming year how AI can help older adults adapt to the inevitable use of AI in healthcare in a safer and more responsible way, and how to strengthen the irreplaceable “human touch”and empathy that are lacking in AI.
