The Fall favorite La Union Maze is back for Fall 2026.

The 13 acre maze opens September 26 with a design celebrating New Mexico agriculture, plus a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, jumping pillows, slides, pedal cars, farm animals, pig races and more.

You can honor the lives lost on 9/11/2001, with the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Sun Bowl Stadium.

Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs in remembrance of the fallen, with hydration stations and ice immersion support available throughout the event. The memorial is organized by the UTEP Army ROTC program.

The event begins with participant intake from 6:00–6:55 AM, followed by a vigil at 7:00 AM and the stair climb stepping off at 7:45 AM. The event is expected to conclude around 10:00 AM.

Teso Life El Paso coming this Fall to Eastlake. The front Sign is now up.

Teso the Popular Japanese lifestyle and department store is on its way to El Paso. Teso is known for its Japanese snacks, beauty products, home goods, and pop culture anime finds.

A major new highway connection is moving forward just west of El Paso. The NM 139 Border Highway Connector will create a new east-west roadway between NM 136 near Santa Teresa and NM 273 in Sunland Park, improving access between Santa Teresa, Sunland Park, El Paso and nearby border crossings.

The project also received a major funding boost this year, with $125 million in New Mexico transportation bond proceeds allocated to the Border Connector.

Construction is expected to begin in fall 2026. Construction is estimated to take approximately 2–3 years, with the roadway potentially opening in 2028 or 2029.

Construction has begun on a new $316 million dollar Advanced Manufacturing District on El Paso International Airport property.

250 acre development is to bring new aerospace, defense, technology and manufacturing companies to the area. Phase 1 to include new multiple tenant and standalone manufacturing facilities.

Phase 1 is set to finish Spring 2027 for the first facility George Perry Blvd. and Global Reach Dr.
However, the entire 250 acre Advanced Manufacturing District is expected for approximately 15 years, so 2041. (According to EP Airport Business site)
