I want each candle to mean something special, to the person giving it, as well as the person receiving it. If you can’t be with your loved one, send them a candle with with what you’d be doing if you would be together. Purchase a candle in honor of them with the activity you would do with them. There’s a candle for every occasion and every season.

I’ll just say it, May Flowers Candle Co. is closing its “doors”. 💕

From day one to day end, you all have been rockstar supporters. This in no way has to do with anything thing, but I’m currently in a season where my plate is overflowing. And I had to pray and pick what to say goodbye to. And May Flowers Candle Co. was that thing. My husband asked, are you sad, and I told him no. It’s not the end, just the beginning of the next chapter. And who knows what may come of my little candle business in the future. It’s just for right now.

So thank you for helping me pick wildflowers along the way, and letting my ash turn into something so beautiful. ❤️

We met Brian and Vanessa through our church in El Paso, TX. They were and still are a bright light to us. Her youngest, Liam and my oldest, Noel were born in April 2013. Vanessa’s empathy and kindness ran deep for our situation. Having the opportunity to witness Liam grow into who he has become has been a privilege. To see him, brought me comfort, that Noel didn’t make it, but he did.

September 2021, everything changed. After taking Liam to the ER and after many tests he was diagnosed with cancer. Rhabdomyosarcoma, to be specific. They quickly began chemo and radiation. Through the past several months, the Loften family has fought long and hard.

In, April of 2022, they were given the worst news a parent could ever receive. Liam’s cancer has turned untreatable, and it is now terminal. They are working to help Liam live as comfortably as possible. The time they have with him is of utmost importance and precious.

This year for the Picking Wildflowers bundle/box, I will be donating all profits to the Loften family. Your purchase and support won’t only help a small local business, but a family very much in need.

Thank you for always supporting every endeavor I put out there. It’s because of you and your support that I can successfully put out the Picking Wildflowers Bundle out for the second year. Your love and support reaches further than you even know.
