In case you weren’t aware of the deep roots to the fruits we know now of the rich complexity of the largest international borderplex on the planet 🌎 is that it all really exploded with pants 👖(denim) manufacturing.

The pant industry is, up to this day, the largest economic engine the region has had, even larger than Ft. Bliss, UTEP, and Texas Tech.

Even one of the more well known preachers of one of the largest churches here worked for one of the largest pant companies here; as well as one of the families of the bigger bar industries as well as the medical here got there kick start in pants, specifically via Don Shapiro and his woman’s pant company Action West. In its peak, he had 3,000 employees including El Paso, Juarez, Puebla, Chihuahua, Torreón, and Mexico City.

Pants and fashion are somehow intrinsically pioneered and galvanized here in El Paso and Juarez and the cultural creation impact points are more synonymous with NYC and Los Angeles than with the rest of the southwest.
