Day Two of Sweati Seven 😥 7️⃣ 🏃‍♀️

The amount of miles one does when doing basic tasks in the yard… insanity. Just shy of one mile with the hedge trimmers along the whole fence line.

Met an Opossum too. Cute little guy who clearly wanted to be a part of the seven day challenge when he saw me and started running. Projection? Probably.

Ok Mandi Varnum… two down… five to go.

Checked my pedometer and it said with the amount of laps I did in the yard while mowing the jungle… I did just over a mile. Holy moly! 🥵💀✌️

Mandi Varnum I’m definitely in the “leg wobble stage”… I didn’t run the whole thing but it was brisk and included pushing a lawn mower up hill… a lot. 😵

After reading an extremely bigoted about boycotting Cracker Barrel because they support the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 Community by putting the pride flag on some of their rocking chairs, I decided to post in the comments which were otherwise hateful and terrible towards Cracker Barrel and the community.

Seems I haven’t made any friends.

✌️ TWO MORE DAYS ✌️

We’ve got two more days until the end of this round. I’m in a weird place mentally… so I’m going to try my best to explain.

I am so incredibly proud of the work I’ve put up until this point to get here. 🥲 I know that even if this is the end of the road for me that I still hold two amazing titles I never dreamed of achieving! I have taken huge steps in self love and self confidence, and shared a lot of my self with all of you! So if Thursday ends my journey, it won’t diminish what I’ve achieved.

Here’s the flip side…

I am also not ready to be done. I came in swinging and I have no intention of stopping until I have no further to go, and even then… I’ll stay on my personal journey to better myself. This competition has meant so much to me and I can’t imagine it being over yet. I’m fighting guys. I’m fighting hard. I don’t want to be done yet.

… and here’s the problem, I’m competing against girls with 85K followers on social media or the girls who are are getting votes via MusiCares. I’m not against the charity but it makes it so that you can buy your way into 1st 🥇 place. I am so very appreciative of those who have helped me via MusiCares votes, the organization does amazing things! And I also appreciate ever single vote, like, and share! My team may not have $1000s to spend but they are the best team. That’s a title we won weeks ago.

So here’s where I’m at… I will fight hard along side my tribe until they tell me I’m done. And I’ll be proud of it all no matter what.

Fact of life is that we grow up. But do we? I think it’s fair to say that their are many things that haven’t changed about me since I was a child. These pictures show that. My default expression on my face is always a smirk 😏 and wearing fancy clothes isn’t my go to attire. But the fact remains… I am me no matter the age. Whether it’s that funny face, tangled hair little girl in cowgirl boots or the modern day woman with bright red hair and combat boots. She’s me.

The competition has me looking back at a lot of memories in my life, the common denominator is that I was always in there somewhere, even if hidden.

That you for continuing to support me! For all the stages of my life. Love you all.

We’ve got until Thursday to pull a Hail Mary 📿… think we can do it tribe?

When I see the amazing group of support I have around me… accepting me and my ink for what I am, that’s a feeling I have never felt. Mostly on the assumptions of my over critical thinking. But now, I can imagine the opportunity to show the world that I am enough and that every woman like me is a queen. I’m fighting hard. Not because anyone here is less worthy, but because up until now, I didn’t think I was deserving.
