🎶 What I Fed My Mind in 2024 🎶

Music has always been a big part of my life, but about 5 years ago, the Lord challenged me to really evaluate what I was feeding my mind. While I still listen to secular music occasionally, a lot of it just doesn’t align with where I am in my walk with Christ—it doesn’t feed my soul.

This year, and so so many others poured into me and my household through their music. Let me tell you—Christian music isn’t what it used to be. It’s evolved. It’s better. It’s diverse. Just like the kingdom of heaven will be! 🌍✨

Five years ago, I personally did a challenge to feed my spirit with music that uplifted me and drew me closer to Jesus. That decision changed everything: my thoughts, my mood, my interactions, my heart. I’m still reaping the benefits of that one decision.

So now I’m passing the challenge on to YOU. Feed your mind with music that uplifts and transforms you. Let’s make room for more of Him in 2025. 🙌🏾

What I love about .kidz the most is their love for the people they serve. These two amazing humans Lordly and Amber have meant the world to me and my kids. They serve the kidz but they also serve the families. I’m a better servant bc of them. It was an absolute privilege and JOY to serve alongside them. Tonight as we said goodbye was not bittersweet. It was a joyful moment bc they are stepping into their calling. They are walking in purpose. And when you see and hear their testimonies about their journey you can only see God! And that’s what they desire! I don’t know you sir, but I know you know what gems you have in these people. They will serve the Lord well in Florida. I cannot wait to see what the Lord does for them, for the people and their families. I’m so excited. And me and my family will pray for yall. Over yall and all the things! It’s only crazy till happens.

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone in the life of a man who is not only the love of my life but also the anchor of our family. Happy 50th Birthday to my amazing husband ! 🎉❤️

To say he’s simply “amazing” doesn’t even begin to cover it. He’s fun-loving, determined, and has a heart bigger than I could have ever dreamed of. He listens with the kind of intention and care that makes every person feel seen, and he has this unwavering integrity that has guided our family through every season.

For 28 years, he served this country with honor and dedication—a testament to his commitment and selflessness. His strength has not only protected us but also inspired us all. I can’t imagine a day without his laughter, his wisdom, and his love.

You are so, so important to us. You are the heartbeat of this family, and we are all better because of you. Happy 50th, my love! Here’s to many more years of laughter, adventure, and memories together. We love you beyond words! 💕

Learning to experience life and all its facets with family, being fully present in the moment.

I can’t say enough about the blessings I have. On days when I feel overwhelmed, I look at pictures like these to remind myself of the joy and honor it is to share this life with these amazing humans. These gifts.

May I never take it for granted.
May I always be thankful, even on the tough days.
It’s a gift to be his wife.
It’s a gift to be their mom.

Investing in our marriage and family is the best decision we’ve made.

We honored my granny today. She was strong. She was tough. She was loved. It’s hard to believe she won’t be around any longer. She was always there for every major event. I’ll remember the good times. We all have a ton of memories. I pray for healing. Our family has suffered a devastating loss in losing my cousin Derrick so senselessly just a couple months earlier. Derrick was Granny’s baby. She really loved him and in his early years, it was her and him. Always! Now they are together in heaven. God it really doesn’t make sense but I know you’re in it all. So I’ll have faith and keep pressing on. I’m thankful that I was able to see my family and grateful that I had a the blessing of having a grandmother in my life for so many years. She was my last grandparent to leave us. She will be deeply missed. See you later Granny 💕 We love you ❤️
