What is reflex action? ⚡
Reflex action is a fast, automatic response to a stimulus that happens without conscious thinking. When the body detects danger, such as touching something hot, sensory neurons send signals to the spinal cord. The spinal cord quickly sends motor signals back through motor neurons to the muscles, allowing the body to react instantly and protect itself from injury before the brain fully processes the event.
