I've been experimenting with vibrant color combinations on a series of mixed media heart-shaped door hangers. I painted this door hanger with Dixie Belle Paint Company’s Silk - Conch All-in-One Paint, Muscadine Wine, Soft Pink, Pink Champagne and Cavier Chalk Mineral Paints along with To***co Road Voodoo Gel Stain. For the details I used Dixie Belle Harlequin Stencil and Bohemian Wedding Transfer. The addition of a Wood-U-Bend lock mould with a skeleton key and resin letters spelling out 'love' adds a charming touch to this piece. Each hanger measures approximately 21" x 21", and will be available on my website.

Embarking on a vibrant new year with some mixed media fun! For this barn quilt door hanger, I used Dixie Belle Paint Company’s Antebellum Blue, The Gulf and Cotton Chalk Mineral Paints along with To***co Road Voodoo Gel Stain. For added depth, I used Dixie Belle’s Harlequin stencil, Cavier Chalk Mineral Paint and the Dixie Seed Company transfer. A Wood-U-Bend mould and a skeleton key completed this project.

Here is another addition to my jewelry box makeovers and is now available. I painted the jewelry box with Dixie Belle Bunker Hill Blue Chalk Mineral Paint and stenciled details with Dixie Belle Gold Digger Metallic Paint. The sides and top feature a beautiful Peacock Paradise transfer from Redesign with Prima, and the hardware is accentuated with Dixie Belle Gold Gilding Wax. I finished box with Dixie Belle Clear Coat Satin to seal the paint and transfers. SOLD - I’ve been working on a few jewelry boxes in between my holiday decor projects and will have them stocked and available in my booth at The Red Door Antiques this weekend. I painted this box with Dixie Belle Silk All-in-One Mineral Paint in Conch and embellished it with the Redesign with Prima Enchanted Grove transfer. I used Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax Clear to seal the transfers and Antique Gold Gilding Wax to brighten the hardware.

I transformed a simple wood tote into a lighted holiday decor piece, painted with Dixie Belle Cavier and Cotton Chalk Mineral Paints and embellished with garland, mini lights, berry picks, and a Redesign with Prima Village of Wonder transfer.
