When Big Grove Brewery approached Chef David Meegan, the phrase “chef-driven brewery” was all it took.

With experience in brew pubs from New York City to Omaha’s Benson district, Meegan was eager to return to the culture and creativity of brewery life. Today, he leads Big Grove’s from-scratch, locally-sourced kitchen in Omaha’s medical district — bringing bold flavors and fresh ideas to every plate.

This week marks Inflammatory Bowel Disease Awareness Week, recognized nationally during the first week of December.

Longtime Omaha TV anchor Rob McCartney — who lives with IBD — is partnering with the Nebraska/Iowa chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation to increase awareness and advocate for a cure.

IBD impacts 48,000 people in Nebraska and Iowa alone. We’re grateful for local voices and organizations working to make a difference. 💜
