🚨 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: Due to the government shutdown, the U.S. Forest Service - Monongahela National Forest's Seneca Rocks Discovery Center and Cranberry Mountain Nature Center are currently closed to the public. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻.

🦅 The Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center is also currently closed to the public. Refuge lands will remain open for hiking, hunting, and fishing.

🚻 Restrooms in the National Forest's recreation areas will remain open

Join us this Saturday, as we turn up the heat with classic rock tunes during the festival’s chili cook-off and opening-day events! We take the Davis Street stage from 4-5 p.m. in downtown Elkins. WV Trail is hosting its annual meeting at Pricketts Fort later this month to take feedback and input for its Statewide Trails Plan. This event is being supported by Mountaineer Trail Network, Mon River Trails Conservancy, Friends of Cheat, Harrison Recreational Trail and the City of Fairmont.
