"Frozen JR the Musical" open tomorrow!

And we have the cast and director of the show, Backstage with us, TOMORROW!
Tune in to hear some of the students in the show.
The cast consist of over 50 actors, ages 6-18.
ALL talented and ALL excited to present this show to Elko County.

Since we seem to be on a theatre theme next week,
let's go Backstage with Overland Stage Theatre Company and talk with the director of "Where Her Daisies Grow Wild."

The show opens next Thursday and runs for two weekends at the GBC.

It is an original piece, written and scored by a local over 20 years ago.
It's heartful to hear how this story of his has come to life this way, after all these years. ♥️.

Curtain Call Elko presents their debut show "The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals" July 10th, 11th and 12th at the Stage Door!

We talk with the director Ebin Price, about how they got this project off thee ground and onto the stage.
Not only is he directing, but choregraphing, producing, lights and sound. He's taking on big roles behind the scenes to make this show come to life.

Then we talk to some of the cast and crew about how they are taking on the show and the process over the last few months.

They are so much fun and so is this show. See the show about a guy who HATES musicals, but finds himself stuck in one.

Look who's back with us, Backstage!

Ruby Sutton and all winners from the 2025 "Miss Elko County Pageant."

Ruby has taken this program and made it shine in SUCH big ways.
So much so, that our very own, Miss Teen Elko, won STATE last year!
Miss Teen Elko became Miss Teen Nevada.

And THESE 2025 winners are now traveling to Georgia soon to compete!
They are doing big things.

We are taking a trip to the Elko High School Theatre Department to go Backstage, literally, to speak with the folks and students involved with their spring musical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!"

They open the show THIS Friday.
The show runs this weekend and next weekend.

This show is gigantic in energy, music and LOTS of hard work, with long hours, to give you a show you won't forget.

We join some organizations this coming Tuesday. April 21st, to speak about their upcoming fundraisers. :)

Renee Denny and Chisholm Morris, from Encompass Respite Care, tell us about their mission with their respite work in Elko County, and all the details on their family friendly "Interactive Move Night" on April 25th!

Then Kaitlyn McLeod, from Communities In Schools, gets on the mic and gives us all the being the scenes fun coming up for for their annual "Nite At The Races" fundraiser in May!

So come hear about some local events and non profits that are here for lending a hand in our corner of Nevada.

All art must be completed and turned in by May 1st.

AMERICA 250 ARTWORK
We are gathering up 6x6 paintings for the America 250 mosaic at the Elko County Courthouse. The incredibly talented Patty Fox (retired art teacher extraordinaire) painted a few of each color. There are still tiles available for all skill levels! Check out posts on this page for details and directions. ❤️🤍💙
