Look who's back with us, Backstage!

Ruby Sutton and all winners from the 2025 "Miss Elko County Pageant."

Ruby has taken this program and made it shine in SUCH big ways.
So much so, that our very own, Miss Teen Elko, won STATE last year!
Miss Teen Elko became Miss Teen Nevada.

And THESE 2025 winners are now traveling to Georgia soon to compete!
They are doing big things.

The room fills with energy when they are here, so tune in on Tuesday, April 28th, and hear it for yourself.

We are taking a trip to the Elko High School Theatre Department to go Backstage, literally, to speak with the folks and students involved with their spring musical "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!"

They open the show THIS Friday.
The show runs this weekend and next weekend.

This show is gigantic in energy, music and LOTS of hard work, with long hours, to give you a show you won't forget.

We join some organizations this coming Tuesday. April 21st, to speak about their upcoming fundraisers. :)

Renee Denny and Chisholm Morris, from Encompass Respite Care, tell us about their mission with their respite work in Elko County, and all the details on their family friendly "Interactive Move Night" on April 25th!

Then Kaitlyn McLeod, from Communities In Schools, gets on the mic and gives us all the being the scenes fun coming up for for their annual "Nite At The Races" fundraiser in May!

So come hear about some local events and non profits that are here for lending a hand in our corner of Nevada.

If YOU would like to contribute to the "America 250" art project int own, get ahold of the Elko Art Foundation for your canvas! :)

All art must be completed and turned in by May 1st.

Have some fun and be part of the community in a big artistic way! ;)

AMERICA 250 ARTWORK
We are gathering up 6x6 paintings for the America 250 mosaic at the Elko County Courthouse. The incredibly talented Patty Fox (retired art teacher extraordinaire) painted a few of each color. There are still tiles available for all skill levels! Check out posts on this page for details and directions. ❤️🤍💙
