🌟 When Inspiration Strikes 🌟
Knowing my kids were the only military family at school, I asked myself: “How do they explain what Mom does when she’s in uniform?” In just 15 minutes, I wrote my first book, Soldier Mom, capturing their experiences and my love—no scrambling for words, just years of clarity pouring out. ✍️💖
🔑 That rapid download wasn’t magic; it was built on countless moments lived, lessons learned, and emotions felt.

🎤 Behind the Scenes: The Power of Feedback
Huge shoutout to Desiree—truly the backbone who makes every event possible! 🙌 And mad props to Brandon—his judging feedback isn’t lazy critique; he gives concrete examples that winners actually implement on the spot.
Special thanks to his mentor, Tom Plummer, for instilling the lesson that greatness means turning any comment into instant, actionable improvement. 💡
If you’re hunting for a speaking coach, make sure they can listen to you and return your ideas even clearer—in the snap of a finger. Remember: mastery takes years of dedication, not overnight fixes. ⏳

❤️ From Hopelessness to Healing ❤️
There was a time I didn’t feel I deserved to live—hopeless and stuck in victim mode. What pulled me back? Reaching out to loved ones and admitting I needed help. Even when it didn’t feel “right,” I said yes to support.
🌱 I committed to doing the work: holistic therapy, daily meditation, self-help reading, and even plant medicine with shamans. It wasn’t an overnight fix—it took time and patience.
✨ To anyone struggling: don’t give up on yourself or the process. Trust your instincts—you carry infinite wisdom within you.

📚 Sneak Peek: Book 16? 📚
We’ve got 12–15 more books in the pipeline—and here’s a live idea for Book 16:
👩‍✈️ “Soldier Moms Unite”
Moms from the Air Force, first responders, EMTs and beyond all coming together in one powerful anthology.
✨ Remember Book 15? My favorite collaboration with my son Dakota—where our scouting stories became a lesson in future leadership. Now imagine those same moms co-authoring their own chapters!
What theme would you love to see in Book 16? Drop your ideas below! 👇

💡 Lessons from My Roots 💡
From my dad, I learned the power of commitment. While many were out socializing, he was down in the basement studying late into Friday and Saturday nights—earning a new degree, chasing certifications, and proving that true success demands sacrifice.
From my mom, I absorbed the gift of consistency. She was always there—at games, at appointments, whenever we needed her. No matter how busy life got, her word was her bond.
These two qualities—commitment and consistency—are why I’m unafraid to take risks and stay loyal to my goals.

💛 Self-Love Is a Journey 💛
The most important thing? Loving yourself. When you truly know your worth, you give love freely—no strings attached, no expectations of it being returned. ❤️
🌱 Self-love isn’t a weekend project; it’s a lifelong journey. Even when others don’t meet you where you are, look inward first: What can I learn? How can I grow?
✨ I’m a hugger, a kisser—full of Brazilian warmth—and yes, not everyone gets it. But I won’t dim my light for lack of understanding. I’ll keep giving, keep loving, because that’s who I am.
🔑 Here’s the key: take responsibility for your own energy. Keep shining, even when the world doesn’t reflect it back.
👉 How do you practice self-love every day? Share your tips below!

When a science teacher and veteran shared his story, the students’ response was eye-opening.
“I tipped my toe into service—and fell in love with it.”
Some call it the bug. Others call it purpose.

Sometimes the best life lessons come from a quick bar chat.
“I didn’t make her laugh that night… but that moment changed everything.”
From awkward to authentic — it sparked a journey into humor, connection, and learning how to really show up.

From The Sandlot to the stage — “Smalls” wasn’t just a nickname… it was a connection. ❤️
What started as a casual greeting turned into something meaningful. Because when it comes from a beautiful heart, it’s always received with love.
🎤 “Nothing from that heart comes out to be anything but beautiful.”

🎖 Veterans Day honors all who have served — past and present.
🕊 Memorial Day is solely to honor those who gave their lives while serving.
Both are powerful. Both deserve our respect. And knowing the difference? That’s the first step toward honoring them properly.

“I meet people who say they want to be great speakers, authors, leaders… but when it’s time to do the work — they disappear.”
✨ The truth? Without a BIG vision, you won’t survive the 10PM grind, the 11:45PM emails, or the 2-hour speech practice when you’re dead tired.
🎯 If you don’t have a vision strong enough to pull you through the hard stuff… you’ll quit. Period.

“What would make this the best show for YOU… even if you weren’t on it?”
📈 When someone genuinely wants to help you grow — not just host you — that’s rare. That’s leadership.
This wasn’t just a podcast.
It was a turning point.
