The 80th Annual Thorp High School Auction is right around the corner!
This year’s auction is scheduled for Thursday, March 6th at Thorp High School. The evening will include a Spaghetti Dinner for $7.00 or $25.00 for a family of 4, dessert auction, silent auction, and the live auction starting at 6:30 PM.
Doors for dinner and the silent auction open at 5:00 PM. There is no admission fee to attend.
The auction will feature baskets and items such as loads of gravel, transmission repair, tickets for attractions such as the Space Needle and horseback riding trips. All items generously donated by local individuals and businesses.
Proceeds from the evening support the Thorp School Associated Student Body, Future Business Leaders of America, and Future Farmers of America.

Did you know that we hand out thousands of Entertainment Guides each year at the Fair, featuring that year’s poster art? Enter this year’s poster contest to submit your work to be shown this year! 🎠

Here are the details:

Theme: “Ewe Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!”
Deadline to submit: Friday, 2/28/25 by 5pm
Award: $300 will be awarded to the selected design artist

Here is how to enter:
Drop off your design at the Kittitas Valley Event Center office located at 901 E. 7th Ave. in Ellensburg, Attn: K. Paquette or emailed to: [email protected].

Popular mediums used in the past: digital graphic design, acrylic paint, and photography.

Submissions must be the artist’s original work. The 2025 design chosen by the Kittitas County Fair Board becomes the property of the Kittitas County Fair. The design will have details about the fair added and be used for marketing and publication purposes. The artist’s name will be credited to the final poster design. Digital submissions of original artwork are preferred.

For those that don't know: If you tune in to our AM station you are not mistaken, you are hearing the FM station. Due to some ground disturbance AM will be off air, replaced with our FM station for at least the next few days.
