We are hiring crew members!

Ideal applicants are professional, team players who possess a horticulture background either through experience or education and have general, working knowledge of native plants and landscaping. Candidates must be punctual, dependable and possess a positive attitude.

Although previous horticulture experience or education is preferred, we will consider all candidates and can train the right individual.

This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. The hours are Monday-Thursday from 7AM-5PM, with occasional Friday hours for weather make-up days. This position offers an hourly range of $18-$21/hr (dependent upon experience), and includes benefits.

Whenever I stop to inspect the details of a plant it amazes me to see how much life there is existing together, supporting each other.

Happy Friday friends! What a perfect summer day it looks like it’s gonna be!
We got some big deliveries this week so we are loaded up with perennials, trees, and shrubs!

Happy Thursday plant friends! I am going on vacation this week, so we did a large restock to prepare! Lots of fall blooming plants that would be great to plant now for blooms this fall 😍 - Cianna

Great blue lobelia is such a gorgeous shade loving plant. Look at this one showing off! Some of these strongly pigmented flowers remind us that shade gardens can have some really stunning colors.

Did you guess Hibiscus? This stunner is the Hibiscus ‘Midnight Marvel’ that’s right outside our Nursery gates. We have them in stock in gallons! They prefer full to part sun and medium to wet soils. We also have the straight Hibiscus moscheutos in stock and some other fun cultivars.

Today’s project! A mix of computer aided for trees and shrubs and hand drawn for perennials.

I’m enjoying my own new native landscape.

Also-Here are a few photos of the ‘deer buffet gardens’ planted at my own house before the deer munched some of the plants down. A thorough application of Liquid Fence has been applied and sonar units have been ordered. *sigh*
