After all the hootin’ and hollerin’ over what kind of pizza is actually Chicago-style pizza, The Sister Project has come to a conclusion.

It doesn’t matter if it’s thin crust, tavern style, or deep dish. All that matters is that it’s freaking delicious.

To help us celebrate, Danielle, owner of Old World Pizza in Elmwood Park, personally drove an 18-inch, half green olive, half pepperoni-and-sausage thin crust pizza to our house because she knew all that hooting and hollering over Chicago pizza had to leave us hungry.

And because she’s a real Chicago gal, she didn’t show up empty-handed. She brought a liter of RC Cola, too.

The pizza was delicious, the RC was ice cold, and it reminded us that Chicago pizza isn’t just about the crust.

It’s about neighborhood joints, family traditions and recipes, summer nights, paper napkins, and the memories that come with every slice.

And with that, delivered. What a treat! Thank you, Danielle, for feeding us while we navigated one of the greatest debates in Chicago history. And it was so fun to meet you!

Y’all call up for tonight’s Friday pizza night!

What a treat it was to sit down with Melissa Villanueva, founder of and candidate for DuPage County Board, for an impromptu Cozy Conversation with The Sister Project.

With our Book Lovers Experience at Brewpoint Craft just around the corner on June 11, we wanted to get to know the woman behind one of our favorite coffee houses first. Because let’s be honest, coffee houses are some of our favorite places on earth. And this one? This one has freaking chandeliers.

Melissa shared the story behind Brewpoint, gave us a peek into her campaign and the heart behind her commitment to serving DuPage County, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. Who knew talking coffee and politics could be so much fun?!

Thank you, for making time for us. We can’t wait to fill Brewpoint with good conversation, big laughs, and a whole lot of book-loving cozy vibes.

See you June 11. ā˜•ļøšŸ“š

Tickets are still available, but our cozy coffee house host only holds so many book lovers. Grab yours through the link in our bio before we sell out.

Thank you to our special guest and licensed therapist for having such a great Chicago foodie convo with us and braving the great pizza debate!

It’s only fair that if you try to push AI on everyone, you should be super honest and transparent about the environmental impact.

What are your thoughts on AI? Tell us in the comments.
