CPO Palumbo and CPOT Cox finished up lengthy investigation that stemmed from a TIP's Complaint on the possible unlawful taking of an over limit of antlered deer. The investigation spanned across 3 counties and resulted in 13 Wildlife charges being filed in Knox County. As a result of the arrests, 6 Whitetail Buck heads, 1 Hoyt Compound bow, 292 LBS of b***d out venison, and 1 landowner deer permit were seized. The venison will be donated to Illinois Sportsmen Against Hunger.
