James is a musician, he has been playing the bass guitar since he was 12 years old. He later taught himself to play guitar by watching others play. He also worked for a sound company and was "the head of front of house" at the Crystal Grand Music Theater for many years. James always dreamed of having his own sound company someday. When COVID hit, both of us where forced to get new jobs. James went
back to playing the bass, with Kimberly helping out running sound and taking care of the bookwork. With the sound company that James worked for being shut down because of COVID, one of their biggest contracts still wanted James to run sound for their festival. So LAU'S became a reality.
