Lundy, a Democrat, will seek to succeed State Rep. Jim Miller, D-Amherst, who is term-limited in the state house and running to be state senator representing the 13th District. Republican Brad Lacko, of Amherst, also filed to run for the seat Miller is vacating.

Longtime Lorain County Fair Photographer and appointed Board of Directors member A. Daniel Messaros III died on Wednesday following a brief illness at the age of 84, according to an obituary published by his family in The Chronicle-Telegram.

The boy, who lives in Alachua County in northern Florida, is charged with making a false report concerning planting a bomb, an explosive, or a weapon of mass destruction, or concerning the use of fi****ms in a violent manner and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

The boy, who was not named by authorities, lives in Hawthorne in Alachua County in northern Florida. He was being held at a juvenile detention facility, according to the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
